September 2009 - The Global Initiative for Food Systems Leadership convened a small working group from public, private and non-profit sectors to develop a macro-level scalability strategy for leadership development in support of global food security. The scalability meeting was an outgrowth of the 2008 Bellagio meeting where the challenges and opportunities for scalable approaches were discussed with the conclusion that a small working group be convened to focus exclusively on this subject.
